49As I sit here checking email
I suddenly hear some music.
It is beautiful
Soulful
And almost haunting.
It makes me stop checking email.
I look up and listen.
I ask my husband what he is listening to.
He doesn't know.
He says it is a background score for a movie.
"Which movie?" I ask.
He says it is a preview of a documentary he is watching.
Again I ask, "What documentary?"
But I get no response.
I continue to listen to this haunting, soulful music.
It is gripping and powerful.
The music changes from soft humming to a piano
To a full orchestra with gripping tones.
Then, just as it begins, it stops.
There is no fading away, no gradual decrease in volume.
Only a sudden, abrupt silence.
I am kicked out of my reverie
And go back to checking my email.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the tune that he was playing or the name of the song. My husband is still not telling me what it was that he was watching, can you believe that? Maybe it was something that he didn't want me to know what he was watching. :(. Thanks for stopping by. I will keep trying to get that out from him so that I can post the link up sometime.
